Stress Relief Pointers
  • Talk to someone to identify the causes of the stress and take steps to get rid of and reduce them. If you don’t feel like talking to a stranger the why not share your qualms by talking to a friend and off-load the strain
  • Try to predict and take steps to avoid your stressors building up before it becomes more serious. Raise your self-awareness of personal moods and feelings
  • Obviously, reduce the intake of cigarettes and alcohol, it might seem to be a short-term relief, but in the long run they are contributing to stress vulnerability and increasing stress itself
  • Exercising burns up adrenaline and produces helpful chemicals and positive feelings
  • Improve diet by assessing the current diet and identify where improvements should be made and commit to those improvements
  • Know what you are dealing with and understand what is causing the stress
  • If things are uncontrollable then don’t try to control it. Try adapting and altering it.
  • As well as exercise, explore the use relaxation techniques by doing some yoga, meditation, self-hypnosis or even a massage


All in all, there are quite a few ways to reduce your stress levels and the above are only a few.
